AMES TRUE TEMPER HIRES NEW SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
OF SALES AND MARKETING
Baab Selected for Strong Background in Growing National Brands
and Launching Innovative Products
CAMP HILL, PA – May 2, 2008 – Ames True Temper announced today that it has hired Larry Baab as its senior vice president of sales and marketing. The announcement was made by Duane Greenly, president of Ames True Temper – U.S.
In his role, Baab will be responsible for overall sales and marketing plans. Specifically, he will focus on increasing sales efforts in existing and new channels, and expansion into new product categories and businesses. He will also oversee the company’s brand strategies and new product development to reinforce the leadership position that Ames True Temper maintains in the non-powered lawn and garden tool market.
Most recently, Baab held key executive roles in marketing, national sales and brand licensing for Igloo Products Corp. He also has held senior management positions with such well-known manufacturers as Black & Decker and Johnson & Johnson.
